Q. At what age should puppies and kittens have their first vet visit?
A. We recommend all new litters be dewormed and given a wellness check at 3 weeks old
Q. What age does a puppy or kitten receive its first vaccine?
A. First vaccines for puppies would be given at 6 weeks old and 9 weeks old for kittens.
Q. How many vaccines should a puppy receive and how often?
A. 4-5 vaccines (depending on breed), each one three weeks apart.
Q. How many vaccines should a kitten receive?
A. 3 vaccines, each one three weeks apart
Q. Is there an injectable treatment for ticks and fleas?
A. No. Currently there are chewable tablets and topical medications available to treat ticks and fleas . All of which we provide and can be found on our website.
Q. At what age do we spay and neuter cats and dogs?
A. Spaying is down between 5-6 months of age. Preferably before the first heat experienced. The same age is preferred for neutering of males.
Q. Do you spay pregnant females or females in heat?

Q. Would you be able to provide medical treatment without physically interacting with the animal?
A. The best medical care can only be given via a consultation in order to accumulate as much information as possible to assist with diagnosis and treatment.
